Monday Arrival & Opening Ceremony
We arrive at Finca El Péndulo, settle into the land, and begin with intention, connection, and preparation for the first ceremonial night.
Tuesday Purification & Integration
A slower day to nourish the body, rest after ceremony, and enter the cleansing warmth of the Temazcal.
Wednesday Bufo Ceremony & Fire
The day begins with movement and presence, followed by the first Bufo ceremony and an evening of grounding around the fire.
Thursday Nature, Wolves & Sound
A day of reconnection with the natural world, supported by the wolf experience, sound healing, and shared reflection.
Friday Second Bufo Ceremony & Celebration
Our final full day offers another opportunity for deep ceremonial work, followed by celebration, gratitude, and time around the fire.
Saturday Integration & Departure
We close the journey with gratitude, reflection, connection, and a gentle return from the sanctuary back into the world.

Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Tepatitlán Jalisco, Finca El Péndulo was envisioned as a sanctuary where nature, conscious living, and human connection come together in harmony.
Thoughtfully created spaces such as the Osho Hut, The Oracle, Ágora Gnosis, Sammasati, and the Temazcal invite reflection, ceremony, learning, and stillness.
Between ancient trees, open skies, shared meals, music, and quiet walks, the land gently becomes part of your journey. For six days, this sanctuary becomes our home.

José Antonio “Pepino”
Born in Sonora, Mexico, José Antonio, affectionately known as Pepino, has devoted decades to walking the path of ancestral medicine. Since 2005, he has studied under respected Comcaac elder Chapo Barnett, developing a relationship grounded in humility, service, and reverence for the traditions of the Sonoran Desert. As co-host of Heart & Earth Retreat, he guides both Bufo ceremonies and helps create a grounded, compassionate space for each participant’s journey.
Luciana Santos
Luciana is a lifelong student of healing, consciousness, and personal transformation. Her path weaves together Reiki, energy work, sound healing, Water Release Therapy (WRT™), Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT®), and ongoing study within the Mazatec tradition under the guidance of Maestra Eugenia Pineda Casimiro. With a deep love for nature and creating spaces of genuine connection, she helps cultivate an environment where each person feels safe to explore, remember, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.
Marakame Juan Ortiz
Marakame Juan Ortiz is a respected elder, ceremonial leader, and guardian of the sacred traditions of the Wirrárika Nation. Born into a distinguished lineage of Marakames, he has dedicated his life to preserving ancestral teachings, ceremonial practices, and the sacred relationship with Hikuri. During the retreat, he guides the Peyote Ceremony according to the traditions entrusted to him by his community.
Jonner Ariel Mendoza León
Originally from Nicaragua, Ariel is an internationally recognized ceremonial musician whose work weaves together Wirárika traditions, Temazcal, and vibrational healing. Through ceremonial music, sound journeys, and grounded presence, he creates spaces that invite inner balance, heart opening, and deep integration.
